Forever Flows
''Nirontor'' (in English as ''Forever Flows'') is a 2006 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Abu Sayeed. It stars Dolly Johur, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Amirul Haque Chowdhury, Litu Anam and Shilpi Sarkar Apu. It was Bangladesh's submission to the 79th Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee. Plot Nirontor (Forever Flows) portrays the struggle of Thithi, a young girl who comes from a lower-middle-class family. Tithi takes up the job of a call girl to support her family. In time, the economic condition of the family changes, but slowly Tithi becomes very much aloof and indifferent to everything. She takes refuge in solitude. Abu Sayeed (Film Director)
Abu Sayeed (born 1962) is a Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, and television producer. As a filmmaker he has made six full-length features and two short films, some of which have received 6 national and 4 international awards. Biography Sayeed graduated from United High School, Naogan, and then attended Government Azizul Haque College. In 1987, at the age of 25, Abu Sayeed made his first film, the short ''Aborton''. It was released the following year and won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Short Film. Sayeed started work on his second short film, ''Dhushar Jatra'', in 1989. It was released in 1992, and also won the National Award for Best Short Film. Idris Ali (born 24 December 1956; known by his stage name Ilias Kanchan) is a Bangladeshi actor and activist. He appeared in more than 350 films during the 1980s and 1990s. He earned Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film '' Parineeta'' (1986) and Best Supporting Actor for '' Shasti'' (2005). He is a road safety activist in Bangladesh.
