For Our Valley
For Our Valley (''Pour Notre Vallée'', PNV) is a centrist political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. In November 2016 two regional councillors, former senator Antonio Fosson and Claudio Restano, left the Valdostan Union (UV) in disagreement with Augusto Rollandin, President of Aosta Valley, and launched the party. PNV was immediately admitted into the coalition supporting the regional government composed also of the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP), Edelweiss (SA) and the Democratic Party (PD). In March 2017 PNV stopped supporting the government and, along with the UVP, SA and Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (ALPE), formed a new government without the UV, under President Pierluigi Marquis (SA), with Restano minister of Tourism, Sports, Commerce and Transports. Regionalism is a political ideology that seeks to increase the political power, influence, and/or self-determination of the people of one or more subnational regions. Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (french: Autonomie, Liberté, Participation, Écologie, ALPE) was a regionalist political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy, whose progressive ideology mixes elements of social democracy and green politics. 2020 Valdostan Regional Election
The 2020 Valdostan regional election took place on 20 and 21 September 2020 in Aosta Valley, Italy. The election was originally scheduled to take place on 19 April 2020, but was then postponed first to 10 May and then delayed for a second time due to the coronavirus pandemic in Italy. Electoral law The Regional Council of Aosta Valley ( it, Consiglio regionale della Valle d'Aosta, french: Conseil de la Vallée) is composed by 35 members. The Council is elected for a five-year term. Mouv', whose complete name is United Aosta Valley – Mouv' (french: Vallée d'Aoste Unie–Mouv'), is a progressive political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. The party was launched in March 2017 as a split from the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP). The 2018 Valdostan regional election took place on 20 May 2018 in Aosta Valley, Italy. Background The 2013 Valdostan regional election, 2013 regional election confirmed the incumbent autonomist coalition government, led by the Valdostan Union (UV), which retained its absolute majority in the Regional Council of Aosta Valley. For All (''Per Tutti – Pour Tous – Pe Tcheut'', PT) was a regionalist coalition of parties active in Aosta Valley, Italy. The coalition was created in the run-up of the 2018 general election by Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (ALPE), Edelweiss (SA) and For Our Valley (PNV). Luisa Trione ran in the Valdostan single-seat constituency for the Senate, while Giampaolo Marcoz for the Valdostan single-seat constituency for Chamber of Deputies.
