''For Aeons Past'' is the debut studio album by Swedish metal band Solution .45. It was released in Europe on 24 March 2010, and in North America on 11 May 2010. On 15 February 2010 Solution .45 released the track "Gravitational Lensing" for free download. The album features lyrics and guest vocals from Dark Tranquillity singer Mikael Stanne. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. With roots in blues rock, psychedelic rock and acid rock, heavy metal bands developed a thick, monumental sound characterized by distortion (music), distorted guitars, extended guitar solos, emphatic Beat (music), beats and loudness. Mikko Härkin
Mikko Härkin (born 25 May 1979 in Kuopio, Finland) is a Finnish power metal keyboardist, who has performed with Sonata Arctica and Kenziner. History Härkin begun to study piano at the age of 5. He joined ''Kenziner'' in 1998 and with them recorded his first album, ''The Prophecies''. In 2000, he joined ''Sonata Arctica'' and toured Europe with ''Stratovarius'' and ''Rhapsody''. Härkin recorded keyboards for ''Sonata Arctica's'' second album, ''Silence'', which was released in 2001. ''Sonata Arctica's'' first live CD, named ''Songs of Silence'', featured Härkin on keyboards. At the end of 2002, Härkin left ''Sonata Arctica''. In 2003, Härkin started a band named Wingdom with vocalist Sami Asp, Alessandro Lotta (ex-Rhapsody), Markus Niemispelto, and guitarist Jukka Ruotsalainen. Christian Älvestam (Born 14 April 1976 in Sweden) is a vocalist, lyricist, guitarist, bassist and drummer for several bands from Sweden. He is, however, best known as the former vocalist for the Swedish metal band Scar Symmetry. He currently performs with several bands, including Solution .45, Miseration, Cipher System, Svavelvinter, Ill-Wisher, Pre-Human Vaults and has made several guest appearances for other music bands. Mikael Stanne
Bengt Mikael Stanne (born 20 May 1974) is a Swedish musician, best known as the vocalist and one of the lyricists (as well as a former rhythm guitarist) for the Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. Since the departure of original drummer Anders Jivarp in 2021, Stanne is the only remaining original member of the band. Stanne is also the vocalist for bands Grand Cadaver and The Halo Effect, which formed in 2020 and 2021 respectively. He was also an ex-vocalist for Swedish bands HammerFall and In Flames. Background Dark Tranquillity Stanne, along with Niklas Sundin, formed Dark Tranquillity because they were bored, along with interest in metal from their influences. He played guitar and performed clean backing vocals on Dark Tranquillity's first album, '' Skydancer'', as well as on their early demos, including ''Enfeebled Earth'' released under the name Septic Broiler.
