Preliminary Round 1 of the Men's Asian Qualifiers for the 2012 Olympic football tournament was held on 23 February 2011 and 9 March 2011. It was played in a two-legged system. The draw was made on October 20, 2010. The 11 winners from the preliminary round will join the 13 higher ranked teams in two-legged knock-out ties to be played on 19 and 23 June 2011. Two-legged Tie
In sports (particularly association football), a two-legged tie is a contest between two teams which comprises two matches or "legs", with each team as the home team in one leg. The winning team is usually determined by aggregate score, the sum of the scores of the two legs. For example, if the scores of the two legs are: *First leg: Team A 4–1 Team B *Second leg: Team B 2–1 Team A Then the aggregate score will be Team A 5–3 Team B, meaning team A wins the tie. Hawally ( ar, حولي) is an area in the Hawalli Governorate, located in the State of Kuwait. Hawally is a large settlement and the commercial center for most computer-related goods in Kuwait. Prior to the first Gulf War, it housed many Palestinians, but many left during and after the War. The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex is a sports complex located in Pune, India. The complex is situated about 15 km from Pune downtown and 5 km from Hinjawadi. This complex was the venue for the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games, Khelo India Youth Games in 2019 and AFC Women's Asian Cup.
