Ashols Melu
Ashious Jordan Melu (6 June 1957 – 20 January 1997), also known as Ashios (or Ashols Melu), was a Zambian footballer and coach. Melu captained the Zambia national team from 1988 to 1992. Playing career Melu was born in Chililabombwe on June 6, 1957, and attended ''Chililabombwe Secondary School.'' He began playing for the Konkola Blades before moving to Mufulira Wanderers in the late 1970s. Melu played as a striker and was the top goal scorer in the Zambian league in 1983, scoring 43 goals, and winning the ''Zambian Footballer of the Year'' award. Alongside Efford Chabala, Kalusha Bwalya, Frederick Kashimoto, Evans Katebe and the Philemon brothers ( Philemon Mulala and Philemon Kaunda), and later Charles Musonda, Johnson Bwalya and Gibby Mbasela, Melu was part of Wanderers team, which was successful in cup competitions in the 1980s, though they never won the league championship. Moi International Sports Centre
The Moi International Sports Centre (abbreviated as MISC) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. The facilities include a 60,000 seat arena with a running track and a pitch used for football and rugby union, a competition size swimming pool, an indoor arena and a 108-bed capacity hotel. Located at 1,612 metres above sea level, it is slightly above 1 mile in altitude. The stadium was closed in January 2010 for renovation works worth KSh.900 million/= and funded by a grant to the Government of Kenya by the Government of China. Shawky Gharieb Bayoumi ( ar, شوقي غريب بيومي) (born 26 February 1959) is a former football midfielder who played for Ghazl El-Mehalla and the Egypt national football team. He managed the Egypt side that won the bronze medal at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship in Argentina. As a player, Ghareeb made several appearances for the Egypt national football team. The Cairo International Stadium ( ar, ستاد القاهرة الدولي), formerly known as Nasser Stadium, is an Olympic-standard, multi-use stadium with an all-seated capacity of 75,000. The architect of the stadium is the German Werner March, who had built from 1934 to 1936 the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
