Fong Chan Onn
Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Fong Chan Onn (, born 29 February 1944) is a Malaysian politician and a former Minister of Human Resources. He is a former vice-president of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a component party of the then-ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He served as a Member of Parliament for Selandar from 1999 to 2004 and Alor Gajah from 2004 until 2013. Profile Fong received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He went on to receive his MBA and PhD in Operations Research/Industrial Economics from University of Rochester, New York. He began his career in the civil service as an engineer at the Kuala Lumpur Telecommunications Department. Abu Seman Yusop
Abu Seman bin Haji Yusop (born 10 January 1944) was the Member of Parliament of Malaysia for the Masjid Tanah constituency in the state of Melaka from 2004 to 2013. A member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) party in the then-governing Barisan Nasional coalition, he served in the deputy ministry of successive governments during that period. Before entering politics, Abu Seman was a lawyer with his own firm. He is a former police inspector and prosecutor. 2008 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Saturday, 8 March 2008 for members of the 12th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah ( Jawi: ; 19 April 1928 – 28 May 2014) was the 34th Sultan of Perak and served as the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 26 April 1989 to 25 April 1994. Sulaiman bin Daud ( Jawi: سليمان بن داود; 4 March 1933 – 23 March 2010) was a Malaysian politician who held seven cabinet posts in the Malaysian government between 1981 and 1999, including as Federal Minister of Education. He represented the constituency of Santubong (1974 - 1990) and Petra Jaya (1990 - 2004) in the Parliament of Malaysia and was a member of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad bin Abdullah ( Jawi: محمد ليو ميکائيل توياد بن عبدالله; born 11 April 1950) is a Malaysian politician.
