"Flowers Become Screens" is a 1994 song by the Canadian electronic music group Delerium featuring singer Kristy Thirsk from their 1994 album ''Semantic Spaces''. The B-side of the single is the track "Incantation" from the same album. In some territories "Incantation" was used as the A-side of the single instead of "Flowers Become Screens". Delerium is a Canadian new-age ambient electronic musical duo that formed in 1987, originally as a side project of the influential industrial music act Front Line Assembly. Deepsky
Deepsky is an electronic music act based in Los Angeles. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Deepsky was formed in 1995 by J. Scott G. and Jason Blum after the dissolution of their first band Q, active from 1992-1995. Its two founding members met originally at the University of New Mexico. Between 1995 and 1996 they concurrently comprised the Dayspring Collective with Shawn Parker, whom together released a CD on the Fragrant Music label titled ''Spark'' in 1997. Giaquinta left the band in November 2006 to focus on solo projects as well as start the group Summer Channel; Blum continues to produce and perform under the Deepsky name. William Morrison (director)
William Morrison (also known as Bill Morrison) is a Canadian born Juno Award-nominated music video director, documentary film director, and musician. He has directed music videos for popular rock bands Matthew Good and Fear Factory, and popular electronic music acts Skinny Puppy, Delerium, and Front Line Assembly. Director Morrison's video directing career started in the early 1990s creating music videos for independent bands in the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada area. It was here where Morrison developed his long musical relationship with the band Skinny Puppy, first directing the music video for the song "Killing Game" and then producing background film and video for their live performances. Kristy Thirsk
Kristy Thirsk is a platinum-selling Canadian singer-songwriter best known for her work with Delerium. Rose Chronicles She was the singer and a co-writer for the band Rose Chronicles, which was signed to Nettwerk in the 1990s. Rose Chronicles released two full-length albums: ''Shiver'' (1994), which won a Juno Award for Best Alternative Album, and '' Happily Ever After'' (1996). The band split up in 1997. Collaborations In the years that followed, Thirsk was featured as a guest vocalist and co-writer on albums by Delerium and Balligomingo. She sang the vocals in Front Line Assembly's cover of Madonna's "Justify My Love" and Mystery Machine's cover of Blondie's "Heart of Glass."
