DJ Nelson
Nelson DÃaz Martinez (born on April 7, 1972 in San Juan, Puerto Rico), known professionally as DJ Nelson is a Puerto Rican DJ and record producer who played a significant role in the development and popularization of reggaeton. He first made a name for himself as part of the Noise, a club-centered collective that was spawned in 1994. The Noise—composed of DJs, MCs, producers, and club coordinators—hosted a long-lasting series of club nights in San Juan that were vital to the development and popularization of reggaeton. DJ Nelson earned credit as one of the top Noise DJs, and he also served as a producer and arranger for the collective's music. Voltio
Julio Voltio (born as Julio Irving Ramos Filomeno on June 11, 1977 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican former reggaeton artist. A pioneer of the reggaeton genre, Voltio retired from music in 2014 and dedicated himself to preaching Christianity. His nickname came to be as the result of an accident. Before joining Karel, he worked as an electrician. One day, he stuck his hand in the wrong place and got shocked. Everyone then called him "Bombillo" (Light Bulb) and "Corto Circuito" (Short Circuit), until eventually giving him a nickname that stuck: "Voltio" (Spanish word for volt). Julio Voltio now identifies as a born-again Christian. Norgie Noriega Montes (best known only as Noriega) is a reggaeton producer and singer known for making No. 1 hits in reggaeton along with reggaeton producers Luny Tunes. Las Guanábanas
Las Guanábanas (a.k.a. "Los Reyes De La Pichaera", a.k.a. "Las Guanabanas") were a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo from Villas de LoÃza, northeast Puerto Rico. Their names are Georgie and Joelito. Career Starting in the world of hip-hop in the late 1980s when they were only engaged breakdancing. In the early 1990s (1992) they had the opportunity to record what was the sequel to the explosion of Puerto Rican hip-hop, as it was the second production of "the Noise." On this tape, they had the opportunity to record about ten minutes, a song that the audience welcomed well by the strong content that was talking about blunts, whores, a ton of bad words (that at that time no one heard of), about "Guillaera", "Bellakeo", "Perreo", things that were not common at that time was very extroverted and full of controversy. Miguel de Jesús (born September 19, 1981, Ponce, Puerto Rico), also known as Guelo Star, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper, singer, lyricist, occasional producer and promoter. Baby Rasta & Gringo is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo formed in 1988 in Las Monjas, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Originally known as "the Eazy Boyz", they've released five studio albums since 1994 but have had various collaborations prior to 1998. Most of these collaborations were with DJ Negro, a collection of albums that were divided in volumes titled The Noise. History Baby Rasta is named Wilmer Alicea and Gringo is named Samuel Gerena. Ñejo & Dálmata, also known as Ñejo y Dálmata, are a reggaeton duo from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ñejo was born June 20, 1975 & Dálmata was born February 27, 1979. Tegui Calderón Rosario (born February 1, 1972) is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and actor. He began his musical career in 1996 (as Tego Tec) and was supported by the famous Puerto Rican rapper Eddie Dee, who invited him on his second studio album, ''El Terrorista De La LÃrica'', released in 2000.
