Florin Bratu
Florin Daniel Bratu (born 2 January 1980) is a Romanian football coach and former player, who played as forward. Club career Bratu began his career with Rapid Bucharest, but shortly after joining the first team, he was loaned to Tractorul Brașov in 2000. At Tractorul he scored eight goals in 27 Divizia B games, before returning to Rapid Bucharest. In the 2002–03 season he won the Divizia A title with Rapid, being the team's top-goalscorer with 11 goals. In 2003, Turkish club Galatasaray announced that they had reached an agreement with Rapid for the transfer of Bratu with the player agreeing to a four-year deal and Galatasaray paying Rapid $2,75 million. In the 2007–08 season he was signed by Dinamo București from Nantes Atlantique and formed a couple in Dinamo's offence with Ionel Dănciulescu. AFC Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele
AFC Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele, commonly known as Turris Turnu Măgurele, or simply Turris, was a Romanian professional football club based in Turnu Măgurele, Teleorman County. The team was founded as ''Voința Saelele'' in 1965 and was originally based in Saelele, Teleorman County. The club played only at amateur level, Liga IV and Liga V, until 2017 when it won Liga IV – Teleorman County and the promotion play-off against CS Strehaia ensuring its first Liga III presence. Lithuania National Football Team
The Lithuania national football team ( lt, Lietuvos nacionalinė futbolo rinktinė) represents Lithuania in international football and is controlled by the Lithuanian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Lithuania. They played their first match in 1923. In 1940, Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union; the country regained its independence in 1990 and played their first match thereafter against Georgia on 27 May of that year. The Slovakia national football team ( sk, Slovenská futbalová reprezentácia) represents Slovakia in men's international football competition and it is governed by the Slovak Football Association (SFZ), the governing body for football in Slovakia. Adrian Mutu
Adrian Mutu (; born 8 January 1979) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is in charge of Liga I club Rapid București. During his playing career, he was deployed as a forward or an attacking midfielder. Mutu started his career playing two years for Argeș Pitești and half a season for Dinamo București, before joining Inter Milan in Italy midway through the 1999–2000 Serie A. After only ten games with the ''Nerazzurri'', he left for Hellas Verona and then Parma, for which he scored 39 goals in the next three years. Anghel Iordănescu
Anghel Iordănescu (; born 4 May 1950), also known as "Tata Puiu", is a Romanian former footballer and former manager of the Romania national team, who played as a forward. In 2007, Iordănescu retired from football, and the following February, after his predecessor resigned, he became a member of the Romanian Senate, sitting on the Social Democratic Party benches. On 26 December 2011, he became an independent senator, affiliated to the National Union for the Progress of Romania. His son, Edward Iordănescu, is also a former footballer and current manager. CSU Voința Sibiu
CSU Voința Sibiu was a Romanian football team from Sibiu, Sibiu County, founded in 1965 and dissolved in the autumn of 2012. Ionel Daniel Dănciulescu (born 6 December 1976) is a Romanian former professional association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), forward. He holds the all-time record for the most competitive appearances in Liga I, with 515 games played over the course of twenty years. The 2007–08 Liga I was the ninety season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began on 27 July 2007 and ended on 7 May 2008. CFR Cluj became champions, winning their first trophy and ending a 17-year-long reign of Bucharest based teams. CFR Cluj will play in the Champions League group stage, while Steaua București qualified for the Champions League third qualifying round. Rapid București, Dinamo București, Unirea Urziceni and Politehnica Știința Timișoara qualified for the UEFA Cup first round. Liga I
The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 campaign, being currently on the 29th place in UEFA's league coefficient ranking list. The 2002–03 Divizia A was the eighty-fifth season of Divizia A, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began in August 2002 and ended in May 2003.
