''Floricienta'' (; known in English as ''Flinderella'') is an Argentine juvenile musical telenovela based on the Cinderella story. It originally aired from 2004 to 2005, but since then it has been broadcast in many countries. Some international channels that have air ''Floricienta'' are TVE International, Disney Channel Latin America, Cartoon Network and Disney Channel Europe. It was also available in the United Kingdom on the Sky satellite lineup. The lead roles were portrayed by two-time Martín Fierro-Award-winning actress Florencia Bertotti, Juan Gil Navarro, Isabel Macedo, Fabio Di Tomaso and Benjamín Rojas. The show was created by Cris Morena and was produced by Cris Morena Group in association with RGB Entertainment. ''Floribella'' is a soap opera that was produced in Brazil, Portugal and Chile. Each of those countries had their own cast, but the show had exactly the same name. Although they had the same name, all of them came from the first and original Argentine soap opera called '' Floricienta'', created by Cris Morena. Plot ''Floribella'' is based on the classic story ''Cinderella''. Flor is a pretty, young and poor girl who works for Frederico Fritzenwalden, who falls in love with Flor. The ''Bandeirantes'' (), literally "flag-carriers", were slavers, explorers, adventurers, and fortune hunters in early Colonial Brazil.
