Stabilo (band)
Stabilo (originally Stabilo Boss) was a Canadian rock band from Maple Ridge, British Columbia. It formed in 1999 and is best known for its songs " Everybody", "One More Pill", " Don't Look in Their Eyes", " Flawed Design", and " Kidding Ourselves". Band’s history Before Stabilo Members Jesse Dryfhout and Christopher John (then Chris Moerman) were high-school classmates who played in a band called Molly along with Shaun Bennett and McKenzie Dougall. Molly released their only EP ''Ghosts of Yesterday'' in 1997. Dryfhout was originally the drummer of the band until he came to the band with the first song that he had ever written: "Everybody". Soon after, he and John started to share song-writing and singing duties. ''Happiness & Disaster'' is the first full-length album by Canadian indie rock band Stabilo. The album debuted at #6 on the digital album chart and #20 on the Soundscan Top 200. The first single and video is " Flawed Design", which has been played live since at least May 2004. The second single and video is " Kidding Ourselves", which was released in July 2006. The song "Beautiful Madness" is a re-recording of the song that is found on '' The Beautiful Madness EP'' which was independently released in 2002 under their original name, Stabilo Boss. Kevin Kadish (born 1971) is an American songwriter and record producer. He co-wrote, produced, and mixed the 2014 Diamond certified (10x platinum) single "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor which spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. In 2018, the song was named the 67th Biggest Hot100 Hit of All-Time, by Billboard (magazine), seated between The J. Brad Wood is an American record producer located in Los Angeles. He has produced many albums, including Liz Phair's ''Exile in Guyville'' and Placebo's debut. Career Wood is from Rockford, Illinois, United States. In 1988, Wood, along with Brian Deck and Daniel Sonis built Idful Music Corporation recording studio in Chicago's Wicker Park. While at Idful he recorded and produced hundreds of records, including Liz Phair's ''Exile in Guyville'', Veruca Salt's ''American Thighs'', Ben Lee's ''Grandpa Would'', Sunny Day Real Estate's ''Diary'' and ''LP2'', and albums by Red Red Meat, Seam, That Dog, and others.
