Flavio Davino
Flavio Germán Davino Rodríguez (born August 15, 1974, in León, Guanajuato) is a Mexican former professional footballer. Club career Flavio began his career in top-flight football with his current club Tecos. In winter 1997, he was transferred to León and later to Monarcas Morelia. For eight seasons, he played with Morelia and in apertura 2002. Then he got transferred to Cruz Azul. He retired in 2006 as a player but continues being in the soccer arena, but now to study to become coach. International career He appeared with the Mexico national football team in 2001 under the wing of Enrique Meza in an exhibition match against Bulgaria of which was held in Morelia, Michoacán. Personal life He is the son of the former Argentine footballer Jorge Davino, and the brother of Duilio Davino. Enrique Meza
Enrique Meza Enríquez (born 3 March 1948) is a Mexican professional football manager who most recently coached Veracruz. Prior to pursuing a career in coaching, he was a goalkeeper for Cruz Azul during their dynasty of the 1970s, albeit a backup to legendary goalkeeper Miguel Marín. He retired in 1976 and is one of the most successful managers of the professional era of the Liga MX. Coaching career Beginnings Notably, Meza has been coach of several professional soccer teams in Mexico Premier League and Mexico National Team. His career has been filled with impressive successes and disappointments. Duilio César Jean Pierre Davino Rodríguez (born 21 March 1976) is a Mexican former professional footballer and executive who last served as Sporting Chairman of Liga MX club Monterrey. Playing career Davino was called up to play in the 1995 Pan American games and played for Mexico in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. He made his professional debut for the Tecos UAG in 1994. Two years later, he played for the national team's senior side in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. In 1997, he moved to Club America. Davino's success at the club level helped him reach the 1998 World Cup in France, where he played under Manuel Lapuente, who later became his coach at América. He earned a total of 84 caps, scoring 2 goals. On 9 January 2008, Davino joined FC Dallas in Major League Soccer.
