Flaka Goranci (born in Gjakova- Kosovo) is a Kosovo- Austrian Mezzo-soprano. Early life Flaka Goranci was born in Gjakove, Kosovo to Flamur Goranci an Electrical engineer and a mother Doctor of Endocrinology and Internist Ilirjana Hana Goranci. At an early age she started studying Piano at her home town in Gjakova and as 9 years old she won the kids singing contest ''Zeri me i bukur femijeror''. Education and career She studied opera singing at the University of Arts (Tirana) in Albania and after she continued her master studies at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University in Israel. Goranci began her international career after moving to Vienna. She worked with Nicolaus Harnoncourt, Gustav Kuhn, Ulrich Windfuhr, Pawel Poplawski, Enrico Delamboye, Manfred Mayrhofer, among others. Flaka Krelani
Flaka Krelani (born 28 June 1989) is an Kosovo-Albanian singer. Music career Flaka started her career at "Ethet", a similar contest to Idols where she reached the final. After the show, she became one of the most popular Albanian rock singers. During the six-year period after Ethet, Flaka participated in various music festivals held in different Albanian territories. She participated in Top Fest, receiving "Best Alternative" in its 4th edition, and "Best Rock" in its eighth edition. She has tried to represent Albania in Eurovision four times. In 2008, she ranked second, and Top 5 in the two upcoming years. Flaka Surroi
Flaka Surroi (born 1964) is a notable Kosovo-Albanian publisher. She comes from the family of Kosovo politician and diplomat Rexhai Surroi, and is a sibling of Veton Surroi, a Kosovan politician. She finished her high school in Mexico, where her father was serving as an ambassador, and graduated at University of Pristina. Before the Kosovo war of 1999, Surroi has worked in several international NGOs, while after the war she led a local foundation. She worked for a short period of time as Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, but after the re-entrance of her brother Veton Surroi into politics in 2003, Flaka Surroi took the helm and sole ownership, of the family enterprise Koha Group, that consists of a national TV broadcaster called ''Kohavision'', the biggest daily newspaper in Kosovo ''Koha Ditore ''Koha Ditore'' (trans.
