Siegfried & Roy were a duo of German-American magicians and entertainers, best known for their appearances with white lions and white tigers. It was composed of Siegfried Fischbacher (June 13, 1939 – January 13, 2021) and Roy Horn (born Uwe Ludwig Horn; October 3, 1944 – May 8, 2020). From February 1, 1990, until Horn's career-ending injury on his birthday on October 3, 2003, the duo formed ''Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage Resort and Casino'', which was regarded as the most-visited show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Andrea Fischbacher (born 14 October 1985) is a retired alpine ski racer from Austria. Career Born in Schwarzach im Pongau, Salzburg, Fischbacher now lives in Eben im Pongau. She made her World Cup debut in March 2004 in Sestriere, Italy, where she would claim her first World Cup victory four years later, a dead-heat tie with Fabienne Suter. Fischbacher competed for Austria at the Winter Olympics in 2006 and again in 2010, where she won the gold medal in the Super-G, ahead of Tina Maze and Lindsey Vonn. In the Downhill on February 17, she finished 4th, missing the bronze medal by 0.03 seconds. Left off the Austrian team for the 2014 Winter Olympics, Fischbacher responded with a victory in the first race after the games, her first World Cup podium in over four years. Emil Fischbacher ( zh, 巴富羲, 9 August 1903 – 27 May 1933) was a Scottish people, Scottish Protestant Christians, Christian missionary to Xinjiang. He served with the China Inland Mission. Fischbacher was born in Glasgow, Scotland, 9 August 1903. It was on the last Saturday in May 1931 that Emil Fischbacher picked up China's Millions and read the ''Appeal for the Two Hundred''. It was on the last Saturday of May 1933, exactly two years later, that Dr. Fischbacher died in Ürümqi. Fischbacher left London for China on 31 December 1931, he was on the last boatload of missionaries who came because of China Inland Mission's specific prayer for 200 new volunteers.
