"Firewalker" is the ninth episode of the second season of the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. It premiered on the Fox network on . It was written by Howard Gordon, directed by David Nutter, and featured guest appearances by Bradley Whitford, Leland Orser and Shawnee Smith. Ascocarp
An ascocarp, or ascoma (), is the fruiting body ( sporocarp) of an ascomycete phylum fungus. It consists of very tightly interwoven hyphae and millions of embedded asci, each of which typically contains four to eight ascospores. "Ascension" is the sixth episode of the second season of the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. It premiered on the Fox network on . The history of robots has its origins in the ancient world. During the industrial revolution, humans developed the structural engineering capability to control electricity so that machines could be powered with small motors.
