Fire Bam
is a 1988 action role-playing video game developed by HAL Laboratory and Live Planning and published by HAL Laboratory for the Famicom Disk System. It is an early example of a fast-paced action game. Gameplay Fire Bam is an action role-playing video game. The game features side-scrolling areas similar to '' Zelda II: The Adventure of Link'', where the player character Bam explores in order to save his parents, who have been turned into monsters. The player is equipped with a sword, which can be upgraded with bits of fire acquired by defeating monsters. The player can also equip shields and boots, which can also be upgraded with the fire. HAL Laboratory

Famicom Disk System
The commonly shortened to the Famicom Disk System or just Disk System, is a peripheral for Nintendo's Nintendo Entertainment System, Family Computer home video game console, released only in Japan on February 21, 1986. It uses proprietary floppy disks called "Disk Cards" for cheaper data storage and it adds a new high-fidelity sound channel for supporting Disk System games. Fundamentally, the Disk System serves simply to enhance some aspects already inherent to the base Famicom system, with better sound and cheaper gamesthough with the disadvantages of high initial price, slow speed, and lower reliability.
