Diane Marie Francis (born 1946) is an US-born British people, British-Canadian journalist, author and editor-at-large for the ''National Post'' newspaper since 1998. She is a non-resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C., specializing in Eurasia policy and political issues. Since 2021, she has published a Substack newsletter twice a week. John Ferguson Godfrey, (born December 19, 1942) is a Canadian educator, journalist and former Member of Parliament. Background Godfrey was born in Toronto, Ontario. His father, Senator John Morrow Godfrey (June 28, 1912 – March 8, 2001), was a Canadian pilot, lawyer and politician. John Godfrey graduated from Upper Canada College in 1960.
