Filipe Martins
Filipe Gonçalo Pinto Martins (born 29 May 1978) is a Portuguese former Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Full-back, left back, and the current Manager (association football), manager of Casa Pia A.C., Casa Pia. Playing career Born in Amadora, Martins began his senior career with hometown side C.F. Estrela da Amadora, appearing in three Primeira Liga matches with the first team. He left the club in January 1999 to join Liga Portugal 2, Segunda Divisão de Honra side G.D. Estoril Praia, where he also featured rarely as the club 1998–99 Segunda Divisão de Honra, suffered relegation. Martins went on to resume his career in the lower levels, representing Clube Oriental de Lisboa, C.S.D. Câmara de Lobos, Atlético Clube de Portugal (two stints) and Odivelas F.C., Odivelas before returning to his first club Estrela in 2009. He retired in 2011 with C.A. Pêro Pinheiro, aged 33. Amadora
Amadora () is a municipality and urbanized city in the northwest of the Lisbon metropolitan area and 10 km from central Lisbon. The population in 2011 was 175,136, in an area of 23.78 km² (9.2 sq mi). It is the most densely populated municipality in Portugal. The 2018–19 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 85th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. ''Diário de Notícias'' () is a Portuguese daily newspaper published in Lisbon, Portugal. Established since 1864, the paper is considered a newspaper of record for Portugal. History and profile ''Diário de Notícias'' was first published in Lisbon on 29 December 1864 by Tomás Quintino Antunes and Eduardo Coelho.
