Filip Johansson (footballer)
John Filip Valter Johansson (21 January 1902 – 1 November 1976) was a Swedish footballer who played as a striker. He was born in Surte, north of Gothenburg. He was nicknamed ''Svarte-Filip'', meaning ''Black-Filip'', referring to the pitch-black colour of his hair. He also played bandy in Surte IS. After starting his career playing for a local club, he also played for Fässbergs IF and Trollhättans IF before joining IFK Göteborg in 1924. He debuted in Allsvenskan the same year and set a record that season, scoring 39 goals in 21 matches. During his nine seasons in the club, he played 277 matches and scored 333 goals. He never won the Swedish Championships with the club, finishing second three times and third four times. He also played 16 matches for the Swedish national football team, scoring 14 goals. Nödinge-Nol
Nödinge-Nol is a locality and the seat of Ale Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 9,822 inhabitants in 2010. Overview The town Nödinge-Nol was once three villages: Alafors, Nol, Sweden, Nol and Nödinge. They have grown together into one locality. It is situated approximately northeast of Gothenburg next to the euro highway E45, east of the river Göta Älv. Nödinge community was originally called Kyrkby and has been the site of a church since medieval times. The current church was built in 1727 and has excellent murals. Nödinge-Nol as a common village has been defined by the Central Bureau of Statistics, based on their principles. The Land Survey Place Name Unit still lists Nödinge, Nol and Alafors as three individual places. Trollhättans IF or TIF, is a football club in Trollhättan, Sweden, which was founded in 1906. The association's first team were merged in 2001 with Trollhättan KC to FC Trollhättan. Trollhättan IF's first team played then in division 6 through the 2009 season, when the club won its series and moved up to Division 5, where they are currently playing. History The club was founded in 1906. In the early decades, the club also had a bandy team, which managed to become district champions for Västergötland in 1930. The Sweden national football team has traditionally been a strong team in international football, with twelve World Cup appearances—collecting one silver and two bronze medals—and three medals in the Olympics, including one gold. Sweden played its first international game against Norway in 1908 and competed in an international tournament, the Summer Olympics, for the first time the same year. Since then, Sweden has regularly qualified for the World Cup and the Olympics as well as the European Championships. Surte IS
Surte () is a locality situated in Ale Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 5,798 inhabitants in 2010. Surte Church is located in the town. It is located some 15 kilometers north of Gothenburg. Surte became well-known for its glass works that started production in 1862 and became one of the major mechanized glass works in Sweden. It was bought by in 1960 and shut down in 1978. In Surte, there was a large landslide in 1950, which killed one person and destroyed 30 houses. More houses had to be removed, causing 450 people to lose their home. It also blocked the river which had frequent ship traffic. Surte was the hometown of Alexander Samuelson. Although he was not the designer, he was the man named on the 1915 design patent for the legendary contour Coca-Cola bottle. The international Grand Master of chess Gideon Ståhlberg, one of the world's strongest players in the 1940s, was born and is buried in Surte. Surte is home to the bandy club Surte BK. They ... Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system, operating on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. The international governing body for bandy is the Federation of International Bandy (FIB). The playing surface, called a bandy field or bandy rink, is a sheet of ice which measures 90–110 meters by 45–65 meters – about the size of a football pitch. The field is considerably larger than the ice rinks commonly used for ice hockey, rink bandy, or figure skating.
