Manasa Marisiale
Manasa () is a Hindu goddess of snakes. She is worshipped mainly in Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand, Lower Assam and other parts of northeastern India and in Uttarakhand, chiefly for the prevention and cure of snakebite, and also for fertility and prosperity. In Hindu mythology, Manasa is the sister of the first two naga kings, Shesha and Vasuki, and the wife of Sage Jaratkaru. She is the mother of the sage Astika. She is also known as ''Vishahari'' (the destroyer of poison), ''Nityā'' (eternal) and ''Padmavati''. Swimming at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, in the Olympic Aquatic Centre (Athens), Olympic Aquatic Centre was competed in freestyle swimming, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly stroke, butterfly (classes Sn), the breaststroke (classes SBn) and Medley swimming, individual medley (classes SMn). *Swimmers with a physical disability were assessed on muscle strength and the scope and coordination of movement, and their impact on different swimming styles. Fiji At The Paralympics
Fiji first competed at the Summer Paralympic Games in 1964, sending a single athlete to compete in weightlifting, then missed out on two consecutive Games before returning in 1976, with a larger delegation of eight competitors in swimming and athletics. The country was then absent for four more consecutive Games, returning to the Paralympics in 1996 with two competitors in athletics. Fiji has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Games. Fiji Islanders won their first medal, a gold, at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, in the Men's High Jump F42. It was won by Iliesa Delana, the country's flag bearer and sole representative.
