Fianna Fáil Front Bench
Fianna Fáil is the largest political party in the Oireachtas. On 12 April 2011 party leader Micheál Martin appointed his second front bench, consisting of all 20 of the party's Teachtaí Dála (TDs) and one local councillor, to be spokespersons on areas corresponding to the various government departments. This was the second front bench appointed by Martin in 10 weeks: on 31 January 2011 he had appointed a team of TDs, senators, councillors and Fianna Fáil election candidates as party spokespersons on different issues in advance of the 2011 general election campaign. In that campaign six sitting front bench TDs, including the deputy leader Mary Hanafin, were not re-elected. Fianna Fáil (, ; meaning 'Soldiers of Destiny' or 'Warriors of Fál'), officially Fianna Fáil – The Republican Party ( ga, audio=ga-Fianna Fáil.ogg, Fianna Fáil – An Páirtí Poblachtánach), is a conservative and Christian-democratic political party in Ireland. Jack Chambers (born 21 November 1990) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has served as a Minister of State attending cabinet since July 2020, and served as Government Chief Whip from July 2020 to December 2022. He has been a Minister of State at various departments since June 2020. He has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin West constituency since the 2016 general election. Anne Rabbitte (born 11 October 1973) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has served as a Minister of State since July 2020. She has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway East constituency since 2016. She was a member of Galway County Council from 2014 for the Loughrea local electoral area until her election to the Dáil in 2016. Niamh Smyth (born 5 May 1978) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cavan–Monaghan constituency since the 2016 general election. Charlie McConalogue (born 29 October 1977) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has served as Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine since September 2020. He has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Donegal constituency since the 2016 general election, and previously from 2011 to 2016 for the Donegal North-East constituency. Michael Moynihan (born 12 January 1968) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork North-West constituency since the 1997 general election. Moynihan was born in Cork in 1968, but is a native of Kiskeam, County Cork.
