Fernando Silva (distance Runner)
Fernando Sérgio Rigor Silva (born 1 March 1980) is a Portuguese former long-distance runner who competed at distances from 3000 metres to the marathon. He represented his country in the marathon at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and the 2010 European Athletics Championships. He has also competed at four editions of the World Athletics Cross Country Championships and six editions of the European Cross Country Championships. He shared in a team bronze medal with the Portuguese men at the 2003 European Cross Country Championships. He was twice national champion at the Portuguese Cross Country Championships. Silva failed a drug test for erythropoietin (EPO), a banned blood-booster, in December 2006, which resulted in his disqualification from the 2006 European Cross Country Championships and a two-year ban. The 2006 IAAF World Cross Country Championships took place on April 1/2, 2006. The races were held at the Umi-no-nakamichi Seaside Park in Fukuoka, Japan, Japan's National Cross Country Course which is the permanent residence of the annual Fukuoka International Cross Country meeting. The event was once again dominated by Ethiopian and Kenyan runners and also Eritrean runners. The 2005 European 10,000m Cup was the 9th edition of the annual 10,000 metres competition between European athletes, which was held at San Vicente Stadium in Barakaldo, Spain on 2 April. A total of 37 athletes (22 men and 15 women) from 12 European nations entered the competition, plus three African pacemakers running as guests. Spain won the men's team event with a combined time of 1:23:53.88 hours, led by individual winner Juan Carlos de la Ossa. Saint-Galmier () is a city in eastern France. It is a commune in Loire department, and belongs to the arrondissement of Montbrison. Saint-Galmier covers an area of 19.5 square kilometers. Heringsdorf
Heringsdorf is a semi-urban municipality and a popular seaside resort on Usedom Island in Western Pomerania, Germany. It is also known by the name Kaiserbad ('' en, Imperial Spa''). The municipality was formed in January 2005 out of the former municipalities of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Bansin.
