Fernand Bachmann
Fernand Bachmann (6 June 1886 – 22 May 1965) was a car dealer, administrator of the Chenard & Walcker establishments and French racing driver. In 1923, Fernand Bachmann finished 7th in the first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Biography Fernand Bachmann was born on 6 June 1886 in Remiremont, France, and died on 22 May 1965 in Brienon-sur-Armançon. He was a car dealer, administrator of the Chenard and Walcker establishments, and a French car driver with Chenard & Walcker race team. Remiremont (; german: Romberg or ) is a town and commune in the Vosges department, northeastern France, situated in southern Grand Est. René Léonard (23 June 1889 - 15 August 1965) was a French racing driver who, along with André Lagache André Lagache (21 January 1885 – 2 October 1938) was a French racing driver who, along with René Léonard, won the inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans in . The 1924 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 2nd Grand Prix of Endurance, and took place on 14 and 15 June 1924. It was the second part of three consecutive annual races for the Rudge-Whitworth Triennial Cup, as well simultaneously being the first race in the new 1924-25 Rudge-Whitworth Biennial Cup. André Lagache (21 January 1885 – 2 October 1938) was a French racing driver who, along with René Léonard, won the inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans in .
