Fergus McFadden
Fergus McFadden (born Kildare 17 June 1986) is an Irish professional rugby union player for Leinster Rugby, Leinster. He played both as a centre and on the wing. Career Early career McFadden started playing rugby as a boy when he played mini rugby with Cill Dara RFC in Kildare in the mid 1990s. He then went on to play at Clongowes Wood College. McFadden was awarded university Colours Match, colours on 17 November 2006 when he played for University College Dublin RFC, University College Dublin against Dublin University Football Club, Trinity College Dublin in the 55th Colours Match. Leinster He made his Pro14, Celtic League debut for Leinster versus Cardiff Blues at Arms Park on 28 September 2007. Kildare () is a town in County Kildare, Ireland. , its population was 8,634 making it the 7th largest town in County Kildare. The United Rugby Championship (URC) is an annual rugby union competition involving professional teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales. The current name was adopted in 2021 when the league expanded to include four South African teams previously from the SANZAR Super Rugby competition. The league is one of the three major professional leagues in Europe (along with the English Premiership and the French Top 14), the most successful teams from which go forward to compete in the European Rugby Champions Cup. The 2011 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2011 RBS 6 Nations due to sponsorship by the Royal Bank of Scotland, was the 12th series of the Six Nations Championship, and the 117th edition of the international championship. 2009 Churchill Cup
The 2009 Churchill Cup took place between June 6 and June 21, 2009, marking the seventh year of the Churchill Cup. For the first time in the tournament's history, all rounds were held in the United States. This was done in an effort to reduce the cost of the tournament after the discontinued sponsorship by Barclays and to keep the tournament from being suspended for a year. The Ireland Wolfhounds (formerly Ireland A and Ireland B) are the second national rugby union team of Ireland, behind the Ireland national team.
