Fepuleai Semi
Fepuleai Seminary Iakopo is a former Samoan politician. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Samoa from 1982 to 1988. Fepuleai was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in a by-election in 1982. He gave his first speech on 28 February and 1 March 1983. He lost his seat at the 1988 election. He later moved to New Zealand, where he ran three companies providing labour to fruit and vegetable growers. In 1991 he was made a Justice of the peace. He was bankrupted between 1997 and 2000. In 2009 he was convicted of 46 counts of GST and income tax evasion involving more than $800,000 of unpaid tax, and sentenced to two year's home detention. In August 2022 he supported New Zealand Green Party MP Teanau Tuiono Teanau Tuiono (born 25 December 1972) is a New Zealand politician. The Legislative Assembly ( sm, Fono Aoao Faitulafono a Samoa), also known as the Parliament of Samoa ( sm, Palemene o Samoa), is the national legislature of Samoa, seated at Apia, where the country's central administration is situated. Samoan Parliament is composed of two parts: the O le Ao o le Malo (head of state) and the Legislative Assembly. Teanau Tuiono (born 25 December 1972) is a New Zealand politician. In 2020 he became a Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives as a representative of the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand. Early life and career Tuiono was born on 25 December 1972. He is both Cook Islands Māori (Atiu) and New Zealand Māori (Ngāpuhi and Ngāi Takoto); he is , and also belongs to the Pasifika/Moananui diaspora. Tuiono grew up in Te Atatū and Ōtāhuhu, with a two-year period in Rarotonga. He initially enrolled for an engineering certificate but partway through changed to a BA in Māori Studies at the University of Auckland.
