Felix Burrichter
Felix Burrichter (born 1978, Germany) is an architect, publisher, curator, creative director, and writer. Burrichter is the founder '' Pin-Up'' magazine, a biannual architecture and design publication where he currently serves as the magazine's creative director. Burrichter has curated internationally at institutions including the Haus der Kunst, Swiss Institute, and Museum of Arts and Design and has published architecture, design, and artist monographs for Rizzoli and Powerhouse. In 2011, he was awarded the Art Director's Club America Gold Medal for Editorial Design. Burrichter lives and works in New York, New York. Ettore Sottsass (Innsbruck, Austria 14 September 1917 – Milan, Italy 31 December 2007) was a 20th century Italian architect, noted for also designing furniture, jewellery, glass, lighting, home and office wares, as well as numerous buildings and interiors — often defined by bold colours. Martino Gamper (born in Merano, Italy, in 1971) is an Italian designer based in London who became internationally regarded through his project ''100 Chairs in 100 Days''. This group of works was exhibited in 2007 in London, the Milan Triennial in 2009, and at YBCA in San Francisco in late 2010. It has also been published by Dent-de-Leone as a book (''100 Chairs in 100 Days and its 100 Ways'') recently republished as a pocket book. The ''100 Chairs'' project has been described by Gamper as "3D Drawing", and is typical of Gamper's practice in that it shows disregard for the historic design standards of harmony and symmetry. Paulo Mendes Da Rocha
Paulo Mendes da Rocha (October 25, 1928 – May 23, 2021) was a Brazilian architect. Mendes da Rocha attended the Mackenzie Presbyterian University College of Architecture, graduating in 1954. Working almost exclusively in Brazil, Mendes da Rocha began designing buildings in 1957, many of them built in concrete, a method some call "Brazilian Brutalism", arguably allowing buildings to be constructed cheaply and quickly. He contributed many notable cultural buildings to São Paulo and is widely credited with having enhanced and revitalized the city. Mendes da Rocha was a professor at the Architecture College of University of São Paulo, known as FAU-USP, until 1998. Maria Pergay
Maria Pergay (28 October 1930 – 31 October 2023) was a French pioneer of stainless steel objects and furniture. She had said that she favored steel for its strength and availability, among other qualities. Pergay made her name in the 60s when she was approached by Uginox, represented by Gérard Martel, a French stainless-steel company, to design small decorative objects. In return, she designed a collection of furniture showcased at the Maison Jardin gallery in 1968.
