Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein ( ; born Dianne Emiel Goldman; June 22, 1933) is an American politician who serves as the senior United States senator from California, a seat she has held since 1992. A member of the Democratic Party, she was mayor of San Francisco from 1978 to 1988. Born in San Francisco, Feinstein graduated from Stanford University in 1955. In the 1960s, she worked in local government in San Francisco. Feinstein was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1969. Alan Shawn Feinstein (born 1931) is an American Philanthropist and former mail-order and Internet promoter. Biography Early years Feinstein was born in Milton, Massachusetts in 1931. He grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston University where he studied economics and journalism. Harold Martin Feinstein (April 17, 1931 – June 20, 2015) was an American photographer. Early life Feinstein was born in Coney Island, New York, in 1931. Meir Feinstein ( he, מאיר פיינשטיין; October 5, 1927 – April 21, 1947) was an Irgun member in pre-state Mandatory Palestine, during the Jewish insurgency in Mandatory Palestine.
