Fastjet Limited is a UK based holding company of fastjet Zimbabwe, an airline operating in Africa. The airline was initially created following the acquisition of Fly540, an airline operating in East Africa; flights in fastjet's own name commenced in November 2012 in Tanzania. Fastjet Zimbabwe commenced flights in October 2015, and Fastjet Mozambique in November 2017. Plans have also been announced for domestic operations in South Africa. Fastjet Zimbabwe Limited, also known and styled as fastjet Zimbabwe, is a low-cost airline that has been incorporated to operate flights under the fastjet brand in Zimbabwe. It is the second locally incorporated airline to operate under the fastjet brand, following the example of Fastjet Tanzania.
