Farukh Choudhary
Farukh Haji Kasam Choudhary (born 8 November 1996) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club Jamshedpur. Career Early career and Lonestar Kashmir Encouraged by his father to take on football, Choudhary started his career with centre back and the Maharashtra state youth teams. Choudhary then joined the academy of I-League side, Pune. He then joined Lonestar Kashmir for their I-League 2nd Division campaign in which he scored six goals in 18 matches. Kerala Blasters After his impressive performance for Lonestar Kashmir, Choudhary signed for Jamshedpur FC of the Indian Super League. He made his professional debut with the club on 5 October 2016 against Atlético de Kolkata. He started the match and played 68 minutes as Mumbai City FC lost 1–0. 2016–17 I-League
The 2016–17 I-League was the 10th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 7 January 2017 and concluded on 30 April 2017. Aizawl won their first title on the final day after securing a draw against Shillong Lajong on 30 April 2017. Defending champions Bengaluru FC finished in the fourth place. Dempo had entered the league after being promoted from the I-League 2nd Division but withdrew from the league along with Salgaocar and Sporting Goa. Aizawl were reinstated into the league after being relegated while Churchill Brothers, Chennai City, and Minerva Punjab were granted direct-entry into the I-League. Mehtab Hossain
Mehtab Hossain (born 5 September 1985) is an Indian professional footballer and coach who last played for Madan Maharaj as a defensive midfielder. During his career, Hossain has played for both of the Kolkata football giants, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal. He played with East Bengal for ten seasons, winning the Federation Cup three times. The 2017–18 ISL Players Draft was a players draft conducted by the Indian Super League on 23 July 2017. Format Regulations for the 2017–18 Indian Super League season allow for each club to have a minimum of 15 Indian players and a maximum of 18, which include two mandatory under-21 players. Prior to the draft, each club was allowed to retain a maximum of two senior players from the previous season (2016–17 I-League for Bengaluru FC) as well as retaining up to three under-21 players. The 2016 Indian Super League season was the third season of the Indian Super League, the football league, since its establishment in 2013. The season featured eight teams again, each playing 14 matches during the regular season before the finals. The regular season began on 1 October and ended on 4 December. The finals began on 10 December and concluded with the final on 18 December. The defending champions coming into the season were Chennaiyin. At the end of the season, Atlético de Kolkata came out as champions after defeating the Kerala Blasters in a penalty shootout, 4–3, during the final.
