Texas State Highway Loop 10
Texas State Highway Spur 10 (Spur 10) is a spur route in the U.S. state of Texas that remains within Fort Bend County. The highway begins at State Highway 36 (SH 36) near Pleak and runs in a northwesterly direction until it ends at SH 36 northwest of Rosenberg. Northbound traffic on SH 36 can use Spur 10 to avoid passing through Rosenberg. The highway goes entirely through rural areas. History On September 26, 1939, Loop 10 was designated to run from SH 114 to SH 121 in Grapevine in Tarrant County via Dallas Road as a renumbering of either SH 114 Loop or SH 121 Loop. Loop 10 was canceled on April 25, 1960 and removed from the highway system in exchange for the creation of Spur 103. State Highway 121 (SH 121) is a state highway angling from southwest to northeast through north central Texas. It runs from downtown Fort Worth, Texas at the junction of Interstate 35W to Bonham, Texas, just north of a junction with U.S. Highway 82. Between Fort Worth and Euless, SH 121 is known as Airport Freeway (east of Euless, this name applies to SH 183). East of Coppell, the highway functions as the frontage road for the Sam Rayburn Tollway, a toll road that runs northeast to McKinney. From McKinney to Melissa, the state highway is concurrent with US 75 and the North Central Expressway. "Downtown Venus" is the first single released from American hip hop- R&B act P.M. Dawn's third studio album, ''Jesus Wept'' (1995). The second track on the album, the song was written by the duo's lead vocalist, Prince Be (under his real name, Attrell Cordes) and produced by P.M. Dawn. It is built around a sample of "Hush" by Deep Purple, so writer Joe South was given a writing credit. State Highway 183 (SH 183) is a state highway in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. Its most heavily used section is designated Airport Freeway where it serves the southern entrance of Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport. History SH 183 was designated on November 30, 1932 from SH 15 east of Mesquite via Mesquite to Dallas. This highway was SH 15A before March 19, 1930, and this highway was erroneously omitted from the March 19, 1930 highway log. On September 26, 1939, it extended to Fort Worth, replacing a section of SH 15. On October 30, 1939, SH 183 was extended west from US 81 to US 80. On October 6, 1943, SH 183 was extended south from US 80 to US 377, and SH 183 was rerouted east to US 77 northwest of Dallas. State Highway 180 (SH 180) is a highway that runs through Tarrant County and Dallas County in Texas (USA) between Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, running east to Loop 12 in Dallas. From Loop 12 in Dallas to Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, State Highway 180 follows the old routing of U.S. Route 80.
