Farhad Kheirkhah ( fa, فرهاد خیرخواه; born 25 March 1984) is an Iranian association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker for Khooshe Talaei Saveh F.C., Khosheh Talaie Sana. Club career He joined Sorkhpooshan in 2005 and in only 8 games in the Azadegan League scored 12 goals, becoming the top scorer. With the offers coming thick and fast from Iran's Premier Football League teams including the likes of Esteghlal Tehran FC, Esteghlal and Sepahan, he signed a 2-year contract with Persepolis FC. Saveh
Saveh ( fa, ساوه, translit=Sāveh, also transliterated as ''Sāwa'') is a city in Markazi Province of Iran. It is located about southwest of Tehran. As of 2011, the city had a population of 259,030 people. History In the 7th century BC it was a stronghold of the Medes. During the Parthian rule of Persia, it was called Saavakineh, and was one of the main hubs of the empire. In the 11th century, it was a residence of the Daylamites and of the Seljuks. It was severely damaged by the Mongol invasion in the 13th century; it was restored during the Ilkhanids. Saveh was again sacked by the Timurids, but later grew under the Safavids. In the summer of 1725 the city was besieged and captured by the Afghans after a battle with Tahmasp Mirza. It eventually lost much of its importance when Tehran became the official capital of Persia and, in the mid-19th century, many of the inhabitants moved to Tehran. ''Navad'' ( fa, نود, meaning ninety - 90 min.) was an Iranian, Persian language, popular weekly television programme broadcast by Channel 3 in Iran and hosted by Adel Ferdosipour. The program focused on the football matches played in the Persian Gulf Pro League every week. Every episode typically featured two guests, one who analyzed the technical aspects of the matches, and the other discussed the referee's decisions and errors. On some shows, famous football players were invited and interviewed as well. Persian Gulf Pro League
The Persian Gulf Pro League ( fa, لیگ برتر خلیج فارس, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Pro League ( fa, links=no, لیگ برتر ایران, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is the highest division of professional football in Iran. It is the top-level football league in Iran since its foundation. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania.
