Fares Dessouky
Fares Mohamed Dessouky (born September 29, 1994 in Alexandria) is a professional squash player who represented Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 11 in March 2017. He made his first big splash on the PSA World Series during the 2014 British Open where he reached the quarter-finals. He beat Karim Abdel Gawad 3-2 in the first round, Karim Darwish 3-2 in the second round and lost out to Nick Matthew 0-3 in the quarter-final match. PSA World Series
The PSA World Series (formerly known as the PSA Super Series) was a series of men's and women's squash tournaments which were part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour for the squash season. The tournaments were some of the most prestigious events on the men's tour. The best-performing players in the World Series events qualified for the annual PSA World Series Finals tournament. Each year, several tournaments on the tour were designated World Series events. These included major events such as the World Championship, the British Open, the Hong Kong Open or the Tournament of Champions. Karim Abdel Gawad (born July 30, 1991, in Alexandria) is a professional squash player who has represented Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 1 in May 2017. Karim Darwish (squash)
Karim Darwish ( ar, كريم درويش; born 29 August 1981) is an Egyptian squash player. Career overview As a junior player, he won the World Junior Championship title in 2000, and the British Junior Open title in 1999. Earlier in 2008, Darwish finished runner-up at the World Open, losing in the final to fellow Egyptian player Ramy Ashour (11–5, 8–11, 4–11, 5–11). Darwish displaced Amr Shabana to claim the world number 1 position after winning the prestigious 2008 Saudi International and 3 major titles (including the Qatar Classic) in 2008. Nick Matthew
Nicholas Matthew (born 25 July 1980 in Sheffield) is a former English professional squash player who has won the two most prestigious tournaments in the professional game, the British Open and the World Open, three times each. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 1 in June 2010. His home club is Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club in Sheffield which has named 'The Nick Matthew Showcourt' after him. Marwan El Shorbagy (born July 30, 1993, in Alexandria) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in May 2018.
