Fantavious Fritz
Graham Foy (born July 27, 1987, in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian filmmaker, who has worked both under his own name and as Fantavious Fritz. He is most noted for his debut feature film ''The Maiden'', which won the Cinema of the Future award at the 2022 Venice Film Festival and was nominated for the John Dunning Best First Feature Award at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023. His filmography also includes the short films ''Kosmos'' (2011), ''Tuesday'' (2012), ''Paradise Falls'' (2013), ''Lewis'' (2015), ''Mouseland'' (2017), ''Good Boy'' (2018) and '' August 22, This Year'' (2020). "Lavender" is a song released by Canadian jazz instrumental hip hop band BadBadNotGood (BBNG) as part of their 2016 album '' IV''. The song has been adapted into two music videos. The official video was released by BBNG in November 2016. The American rapper Snoop Dogg added lyrics to the song and released the " Nightfall Remix" version in 2017. The music video to this version caused some controversy because of a scene depicting a mock assassination of U.S. President Donald Trump. 2020 Cannes Film Festival
The 73rd annual Cannes Film Festival was scheduled to take place from 12 to 23 May 2020. On 13 January 2020, Spike Lee was named as the president of the Jury. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France, festival management announced on 14 April 2020 that the festival could not be held in its "original form", with alternative means of observing the festival being explored. It was cancelled for the first time since 1968. Earlier, festival management considered holding the festival in June or July, after not cancelling the event. In mid-March, the festival's main venue, the Grand Auditorium '' Louis Lumière'', was converted into a temporary homeless shelter.
