Bayi (Army) Keming Surface Industry
Bayi Nanchang Women's Volleyball Team, formerly Bayi Kemen Noodle Manufacturing named from 2001 to 2015 and Bayi Shenzhen from 2015 to 2018, was a professional women's volleyball club based in Nanchang, Jiangxi and competes in the Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League. They won the championship in 2001 and 2014. The team was based in Shenzhen, and later in Nanchang. The team was dissolved in 2020 due to policy change. Fan Linlin, Yang Junjing, Yuan Xinyue, and Liu Yanhan were national team players. Shen Jingsi, Sun Xiaoqing, Chen Yao, Bai Yun, and Wang Lin were former national players. The China women's national volleyball team () represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. The team is one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, and one of the most popular sports team in China, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups (1981, 1985, 2003, 2015, 2019), two World Championships (1982, 1986) and three Olympic titles (1984, 2004, 2016). China took five consecutive World titles in the 1980s. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. 2011 FIVB Women's World Cup
The 2011 FIVB Women's World Cup was played from 4 to 18 November 2011 in Japan. The tournament was the first step in the qualification process for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom. Asian Women's Volleyball Championship
The Asian Women's Volleyball Championship is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. The initial gap between championships was four years, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Thailand, which won its third title in 2023. The 21 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by three different national teams. China have won thirteen times. The other Asian Championship winners are Japan, with five titles; and Thailand with three titles. The 2021 edition was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
