Falco Lombardi
is a fictional anthropomorphic bird from the ''Star Fox'' series of video games. He was created by Shigeru Miyamoto and designed by Takaya Imamura. Falco acts as the wingman and best friend of the titular Fox McCloud for the majority of the series. Falco first appeared in the 1993 video game ''Star Fox''. Since then, he has appeared in multiple ''Star Fox'' games. A variety of voice actors have lent their voice to the character in English language releases, whereas Hisao Egawa portrayed Falco in the majority of the Japanese language releases. He was, however, replaced by Kōsuke Takaguchi, starting with ''Star Fox 64 3D''. Hisao briefly reprised his role in ''Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U''. ''Super Smash Bros.'' is a crossover fighting game series published by Nintendo. The series was created by Masahiro Sakurai, who has directed every game in the series. Red-throated Caracara
The red-throated caracara (''Ibycter americanus'') is a social species of bird of prey in the family Falconidae. It is placed in the monotypic genus ''Ibycter'', or sometimes united in ''Daptrius'' with the black caracara. Unique among caracaras, it mainly feeds on the larvae of bees and wasps, but also takes the adult insects and fruits and berries. It is found from Mexico south to Venezuela in most of Central and South America. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Edwards's pheasant (''Lophura edwardsi'') is a bird of the pheasant family Phasianidae and is endemic to the rainforests of Vietnam. It is named after the French ornithologist Alphonse Milne-Edwards and first described to science in 1896. The bird's length is Birdlife International and has red legs and facial skin. The male is mainly blue-black with a crest, and the female is a drab brown bird. The alarm call is a ''puk!-puk!-puk!''.
