The Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel is a 9-story, 372-room hotel on the bank of the Vltava River, near the Old Town, in Prague, Czech Republic. It is managed by Fairmont Hotels. Vltava ( , ; german: Moldau ) is the longest river in the Czech Republic, running southeast along the Bohemian Forest and then north across Bohemia, through Český Krumlov, České Budějovice and Prague, and finally merging with the Labe at Mělník. It was separated from the outside by a semi-circular moat and wall, connected to the Vltava river at both of its ends.
