Fahad Al Hajeri (born 10 November 1991) is a Kuwaiti professional association football, footballer who plays as a centre back for Ettifaq FC, Al-Ettifaq on from loan Kuwait SC and for the Kuwait national football team, Kuwait national team. Career On 16 October 2012, Al Hajeri made his international debut against the Philippines national football team, Philippines. He scored his first goal against Lebanon national football team, Lebanon. He was selected in Kuwait's squad for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. Kuwait City ( ar, مدينة الكويت) is the capital and largest city of Kuwait. Al Kuwait Kaifan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and hosts the home matches of Al Kuwait Kaifan. The stadium holds 12,350. This stadium had also hosted Kuwait's national team matches during the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification, which they failed to reach. Al Ettifaq Football Club ( ar, نادي الاتفاق لكرة القدم) is a professional football club in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Al-Ettifaq was established after the merging of three clubs in the city of Dammam at the year 1944. 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification – AFC Second Round
The AFC second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, which also served as the second round of 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification, was played from 5 September 2019 to 15 June 2021. Format A total of forty teams were drawn into eight groups of five to play home-and-away round-robin matches. They included the 34 teams (teams ranked 1–34 in the AFC entrant list) which received byes to this round, and the six winners from the first round. Seven group winners (excluded Qatar, who had already qualified to the World Cup as tournament host) and the five best runners-up advanced to the third round.
