Fadime Suna
Fadime Suna Çelik (born October 25, 1986, in Eskişehir) is a Turkish female middle distance and long distance runner. She is a member of the Beşiktaş J.K. Athletics Team in Istanbul. Fadime Suna began her athletic career after an unsuccessful start in basketball in primary school. She says she is thankful to her teacher, who drew her attention to running. She won the gold medal in the 10,000 m event at the 2011 Summer Universiade held in Shenzhen, China. The Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU, en, International University Sports Federation) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25. The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics.
