Fadhil Ahmad Al-Hayali
Fadel Ahmed Abdullah al-Hiyali (died 18 August 2015), better known by his noms de guerre Abu Muslim al-Turkmani ( ar, أبو مسلم التركماني), Haji Mutazz, or Abu Mutaz al-Qurashi, was the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) governor for territories held by the organization in Iraq. Fadhil Al-Jamali
Muhammad Fadhel al-Jamali ( ar, محمد فاضل الجمالي) (April 20, 1903 – May 24, 1997) was an Iraqi politician, Iraqi foreign minister, and prime minister of Iraq from 1953 to 1954. In 1945, al-Jamali, as Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed the United Nations Charter on behalf of his country. Early life Al-Jamali was born in Kadhimain, near Baghdad, the son of a Shi'a cleric, Sheikh Abbas Al-Jamali. His early education was a religious one, attending the religious seminary of Sheikh Al-Khalisi. After graduating from the American University in Beirut, and Teachers College of Columbia University in New York City, he taught for some time in Iraq before entering public life. Fadhil Assultani is an Iraqi poet, translator and journalist. He has lived in London since 1994, and works as an editor of cultural department at the daily London- based newspaper Asharqalawsat. Fadhil Al Azzawi
Fadhil Al Azzawi (Arabic: فاضل العزاوي ; born 1940 in Kirkuk, Iraq) is an Iraqi writer highly respected in the Arab world, as he has published ten volumes of poetry, six novels, three books of criticism and memoir, and several translations of German literary works. He participated in Iraq's avant-garde Sixties Generation, and his early controversial work was lauded with great enthusiasm. Life and career Fadhil Al Azzawi was born in Kirkuk in 1940. As a young boy, he was fascinated by the sound and rhythm of the '' Qu'ran'' and noticed that poetry was evident in Iraqi folklore such as the tales of the Arabian Knights. In the post war period, when contemporary poetry filtered into Iraq, Al Azzaawi quickly acquainted himself with its forms. He holds a BA in English Literature from Baghdad University. Fadhil Chalabi
Fadhil Jafar al-Chalabi (1929–2019) was an Iraqi economist, and was Acting Secretary General of OPEC from 1983 to 1988. He was a second cousin of the politician Ahmed Chalabi. Biography Born in 1929 in Baghdad to Jafar Mohamad al-Chalabi and Fatima née al -Uzri, Chalabi studied law at Baghdad University and graduated in 1951 before gaining a PhD in economics from the University of Paris. In 1968 he was appointed director of oil affairs in the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, and in 1973 became Iraq's permanent undersecretary of oil. William Richard ("Haji") Williamson was an English adventurer who became an oil company representative in the Persian Gulf. Early life Williamson's early life was packed with adventure. Born in Bristol in 1872 and educated at Clifton High School, he left school at the age of 13 to enlist on his uncle's tea-clipper bound for Australia and the United States. When the vessel docked at San Diego, Williamson jumped ship and found work on a farm near Los Angeles, then with his aunt on her homestead. Intending to prospect for gold, Williamson acquired a mule and shotgun and travelled to the Nevadas where he acquired a mine. Mustafa Mohamed Fadhil ( ar, مصطفى محمد فضيل, also known as Abdul Wakil al-Masri) (23 June 1976 – date of death unknown) was a citizen of Kenya and Egypt, who was indicted in the United States for his part in the bombings of their embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya.
