Faded Paper Figures (abbreviated as FPF) is an American indie pop electronica band from Los Angeles, California. FPF is known for their electro-organic sound sometimes compared to bands and artists like Weevil (band), Weevil, The Postal Service, Belle and Sebastian, LIGHTS, Lights and Morrissey. The band consists of three members, R. John Williams (guitar and vocals), Kael Alden (bass, guitar, drums), and Heather Alden (vocals). The band formed in February 2007 and released their debut album ''Dynamo'' in 2008. Their second album ''New Medium,'' was released on May 25, 2010. Their third album ''The Matter'' was released on October 22, 2012. The band's fourth album, ''Relics'' released on August 5, 2014. Their E.P ''Chronos'' was released on January 24, 2017. Belle and Sebastian are a Scottish indie pop band formed in Glasgow in 1996. Led by Stuart Murdoch, the band has released eleven albums. They are often compared with acts such as The Smiths and Nick Drake. The name "Belle and Sebastian" comes from ''Belle et Sébastien'', a 1965 children's book by French writer Cécile Aubry later adapted for television. Late Night Alumni is an American house group composed of Becky Jean Williams, John Hancock, Finn Bjarnson (Finnstagram), and Ryan Raddon (Kaskade). They are primarily known for mixing dance music with strings and soft trance-like vocals. Biography Finn Bjarnson stumbled upon Becky Jean Williams (sister to R. John Williams, the lead singer of Faded Paper Figures) in the summer of 2003. “I had just been given a local Christmas CD that I had produced a couple tracks for,” Finn recalls, “and as I was listening through the tracks, there she was! Steven Patrick Morrissey (; born 22 May 1959), known professionally as Morrissey, is an English singer and songwriter. He came to prominence as the frontman and lyricist of rock band the Smiths, who were active from 1982 to 1987. Since then, he has pursued a successful solo career. Morrissey's music is characterised by his baritone voice and distinctive lyrics with recurring themes of emotional isolation, sexual longing, self-deprecating and dark humour, and anti-establishment stances. The Postal Service
The Postal Service are an American indie pop supergroup from Seattle, Washington, consisting of singer Ben Gibbard, producer Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis on background vocals. The band released their only album, '' Give Up'', in 2003 on Sub Pop Records, to mostly positive reviews. The album reached number 114 on the US '' Billboard'' 200 album chart and received platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The Postal Service remained largely inactive from 2005 until 2013 when they reunited for a tour and released a re-issue of ''Give Up'' to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
