Face Down (band)
Face Down (formerly known as Machine God) was a Swedish heavy metal band from Stockholm, originally founded in 1993. They disbanded in 1999 and reformed in 2004. The latest formation consisted of singer Marco Aro (currently of The Resistance and The Haunted), drummer Christofer Barkensjö (formerly of Kaamos and Blackshine), guitarist Rickard Dahlberg (Construcdead), and bassist Joakim Hedestedt. Their final album, ''The Will to Power'', was produced by Jocke Skog and was released in November 2005, entering the Swedish hard rock chart at number 19. The band is currently on an indefinite hiatus. Facedown Records is a Christian rock record label based in Fallbrook, California that is devoted to hardcore punk and metalcore bands (Christian and secular) with a few death metal acts such as Immortal Souls and Indwelling. ''Facedown'' is an album by worship artist Matt Redman. The song "Nothing But the Blood" has been covered by Jamie Hill (of the band Quench) on his album ''One Day''. It was recorded during the Facedown: Conference for Songwriters which was held January 28–30, 2004, at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. One song, Facedown, was re-included on Redman's next album Blessed Be Your Name: The Songs of Matt Redman Vol. 1, however producer Nathan Nockels augmented that version with numerous overdubs. ''Facedown'' is the debut extended play by English rock band the 1975 released on 6 August 2012 through Dirty Hit. It is the debut of four EPs released before the band's self-titled debut. Each song was accompanied by a music video. The lead single, " The City", and "Woman," were performance videos, while "Facedown" and "Antichrist" were more conceptual pieces. All videos were in black and white and directed by James Booth. Recording The release of the EP was in August 2012, saw the band's first UK airplay on national radio with lead track " The City", which featured as part of a BBC Introducing show with Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1. On 19 May 2013, a re-recorded version of "The City" was released as a single from the band's fourth EP, titled '' IV''. Wild Horses were a British rock music, rock band, active from 1978 to 1981. History Wild Horses was formed in the summer of 1978 by ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson (guitarist), Brian Robertson and ex-Rainbow (English band), Rainbow bassist Jimmy Bain. At an early stage, the line-up featured former Stone the Crows and Wings (band), Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch and former Small Faces drummer Kenney Jones but eventually stabilized with the addition of drummer Clive Edwards (ex-Pat Travers, Uli Roth) and guitarist/keyboardist Neil Carter (musician), Neil Carter (ex-Wilder, Gilbert O'Sullivan).
