Face Down (Arashi Song)
"Face Down" is a song by the Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on May 9, 2012, under the record label J Storm as the third single from their eleventh studio album ''Popcorn'' (2012). "Face Down" is the theme song of the Japanese television series ''Kagi no Kakatta Heya'', which stars Satoshi Ohno, the member of the group. The single was released in two versions; the regular edition came with the song "Mezashita Mirai e" (目指した未来へ) as B-side and the instrumental versions of both songs, the limited edition accompanied with a DVD including the music video of "Face Down" and the B-side "Hitori Janai sa"(ひとりじゃないさ). On June 26, 2020, the rearranged version of the song, titled "Face Down: Reborn" was released as a digital download. Arashi
is a Japanese boy band consisting of five members formed under the Johnny & Associates talent agency. The members are Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto. Arashi officially formed on September 15, 1999, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and made their debut CD on November 3, 1999. The group was initially signed to Pony Canyon and released one studio album and six singles—beginning with their 1999 eponymous debut single before moving to the Johnny's subsidiary label J Storm in 2001, which was initially set up for their succeeding releases. While their debut single sold close to a million copies, the group took a mixture of pop and alternate/contemporary approach to its music which attracted core followers, but subsequently faced commercially slow sales. Ellen Shipley (born March 24, 1949 in New York City, New York, United States) is an American musician and songwriter. Career At sixteen years old, Shipley got a NYC Cabaret license. She performed a duo act in Greenwich Village in the early 70's with Steve Fields. Shipley was noticed by a Tommy Mottola associate, in a jazz club in NYC, ''Pearl’s Place'', and signed to Mottola's company.
