Fabio Zanon
Fabio Zanon is a Brazilian classical guitarist, conductor and teacher. Career Born in Jundiaí in 1966, Zanon began his studies with his father and with guitar teacher Antonio Guedes. He graduated in music at the São Paulo University (USP), having studied with Edelton Gloeden and Henrique Pinto. In 1990, he continued his studies under Michel Lewin at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he obtained his master's degree in music in 1993, having also participated in Julian Bream's masterclasses. He won the 30th Francisco Tárrega Classical Guitar Competition in Spain and the 14th Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition. He received the Moinho Santista Award in 1997, the Carlos Gomes Award in 2005, the Bravo! Jundiaí
Jundiaí is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, in the Southeast Region of Brazil, located north of São Paulo. The population of the city is 423,006 (2020 est.), with an area of 431.21 km². Francisco Tárrega
Francisco de Asís Tárrega Eixea (21 November 185215 December 1909) was a Spanish composer and classical guitarist of the late Romantic period. He is known for such pieces as Capricho Árabe and ''Recuerdos de la Alhambra''. He is often called "the father of classical guitar" and is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Biography Tárrega was born on 21 November 1852, in Villarreal, Province of Castellón, Spain. It is said that Francisco's father played flamenco and several other music styles on his guitar; when his father was away working as a watchman at the Convent of San Pascual, Francisco would take his father's guitar and attempt to make the beautiful sounds he had heard. Isaac Albéniz
Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz y Pascual (; 29 May 1860 – 18 May 1909) was a Spanish virtuoso pianist, composer, and conductor. He is one of the foremost composers of the Post-Romantic era who also had a significant influence on his contemporaries and younger composers. He is best known for his piano works based on Spanish folk music idioms. Isaac Albéniz was close to the Generation of '98. Robert Schumann
Robert Schumann (; 8 June 181029 July 1856) was a German composer, pianist, and influential music critic. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of the Romantic era. Schumann left the study of law, intending to pursue a career as a virtuoso pianist. His teacher, Friedrich Wieck, a German pianist, had assured him that he could become the finest pianist in Europe, but a hand injury ended this dream. John Neschling
John Neschling is a Brazilian orchestral and operatic conductor. He was the musical director and the chief conductor of the Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo (São Paulo State Symphony) from 1997 to 2008. He was the Artistic Director of the Municipal Theatre of São Paulo from January 2013 until September 2016, and has been a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music since 2003. Heitor Villa-Lobos (March 5, 1887November 17, 1959) was a Brazilian composer, conductor, cellist, and classical guitarist described as "the single most significant creative figure in 20th-century Brazilian art music". Villa-Lobos has become the best-known South American composer of all time. A prolific composer, he wrote numerous orchestral, chamber, instrumental and vocal works, totaling over 2000 works by his death in 1959.
