Fabian Drzyzga
Fabian Drzyzga (born 3 January 1990) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for Asseco Resovia. He was a participant in the Olympic Games (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020) and is a two–time World Champion (2014, 2018). Personal life Drzyzga was born in Bordeaux, France, because of his father Wojciech, a volleyball player and member of the French volleyball team, JSA Bordeaux. His father is currently a sports commentator giving a running commentary of Polish national team and PlusLiga matches. Fabian's brother – Tomasz (born 1985) is a former volleyball player. On 3 September 2016 he married Monika Król. In March 2018 he announced via Instagram that they are expecting their first child. Career Club He joined AZS Częstochowa in 2008. PlusLiga
The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 16 teams league from October to April/May. The regular season is followed by playoffs, with the winner earning the Polish Championship ( pl, Mistrzostwo Polski). It is one of the best volleyball leagues in Europe, being highly ranked in the international competitions. The Poland national men's volleyball team is controlled by the Polish Volleyball Federation, which represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. Poland is one of the world's strongest teams, they are ranked first in the FIVB world ranking as of 11 September 2022.
