FV Ravensburg
The FV Ravensburg is a German association football club from the town of Ravensburg, Baden-Württemberg. The club's greatest success has been to play in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, the highest football league in the state, of which it became a founding member in 1978. It played at this level from 1978 to 1983, 1998 to 2000 and, again, since 2013. History The club was formed as FC Ravensburg in 1893, the same year as fellow Württemberg club VfB Stuttgart, as one of the first football clubs in what was then the Kingdom of Württemberg. In 1907 a second football club was formed in Ravensburg, the FC Rauenegg which soon after merged with the ''FCR''. Steffen Wohlfarth
Steffen Wohlfarth (born 14 September 1983) is a German former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is known for nickname as "Wolfman". Career Born in Friedrichshafen, Wohlfarth started his football career at SC Schnetzenhausen and VfB Friedrichshafen before moving to SC Freiburg. He played for the club's reserve side and, three years later, was promoted to the club's first team ahead of the 2005–06 season. Due to lack of first-team opportunities at Freiburg, Wohlfarth joined FC Ingolstadt 04 in 2006. In the 2007–08 season, the club was promoted to the 2. Bundesliga, where Wohlfarth scored eleven goals in 33 appearances. He made his debut in the 2. Bundesliga for Ingolstadt on 17 August 2008 when he started in a game against Greuther Fürth. Amateurliga Südbaden
The Amateurliga Südbaden was the highest football league in the region of the Südbaden FA and the third tier of the German football league system from its inception in 1945 to the formation of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and the Verbandsliga Südbaden below it in 1978. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. Upon the creation of the new nationwide 3. Liga in 2008, it became the fourth tier. SV 98 Schwetzingen is a German association football club from the town of Schwetzingen, Baden-Württemberg. The club's greatest success has been promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in 1982 and 1986, playing at this level for eight seasons. The club has also qualified for the DFB-Pokal once in 1984, courtesy to a North Baden Cup win. VfB Friedrichshafen Volleyball GmbH is a German professional men's volleyball club founded in 1969 and based in Friedrichshafen, southern Baden-Württemberg. Main stakeholder is VfB Friefdrichshafen e.V. The club plays in the German Bundesliga and the CEV Champions League. The team won the 2006–07 CEV Champions League title. Verbandsliga Württemberg
The Verbandsliga Württemberg is a German amateur football division administered by the Württemberg Football Association, one of the 21 German state football associations. Being the top flight of the Württemberg state association, the Verbandsliga is currently a level 6 division of the German football league system. History The Verbandsliga Württemberg was introduced along with the superordinate Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in 1978 as a merger between the Amateurliga Nordwürttemberg and the Amateurliga Schwarzwald-Bodensee.
