FK Sarajevo Managers
Fudbalski klub Sarajevo ( en, Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which plays in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This chronological list comprises all those who have held the position of club manager since the club's formation in 1946. In Sarajevo's history, 46 managers have so far managed the club, with some doing so on more than one occasion. The club's first manager was Josip Bulat, who led the team from 1 November 1946 to May 1947. The longest serving manager was Fuad Muzurović, who managed the club from December 1990 to November 1995. The current club manager is Mirza Varešanović. Husref Musemić is the only manager in Sarajevo history than has won two or more national championships with the club. Fudbalski klub Sarajevo (; English: Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is one of the most successful clubs in the country. Founded on 24 October 1946, FK Sarajevo was the most successful club from SR Bosnia and Herzegovina in the former SFR Yugoslavia, winning two Yugoslav First League titles, finishing runners-up on two other occasions and placing 6th in that competition's all-time table. Today, FK Sarajevo is one of the most prominent members of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where it has won five Bosnian championships, seven Bosnian Cups and one Bosnian Supercup. Srboljub Markušević
Srboljub Markušević (, (5 May 1936 – 18 November 2019) was a Yugoslav and later Serbian professional footballer and football manager. Playing career Markušević spent his whole playing career at Bosnian club Sarajevo, making 148 league appearances for the club and scoring 22 goals. Along with 132 friendly games he played for Sarajevo, Markušević played 280 games for the team in total Managerial career After ending his career, Markušević became a football manager, starting out as a coach in the youth team of Sarajevo in 1966. He then became a manager and led the first team of Sarajevo on four separate occasions (1969–1971, 1972–1973, 1981–1983 and 1990). Husnija Arapović
Husnija Arapović (7 August 1944 – 25 October 2022) was a Bosnian professional player and football manager. Career He was the sporting director of Bosnian club Čelik Zenica, where he has also played and managed with. Arapović died on 25 October 2022, at the age of 78. Kemal Alispahić
Kemal Alispahić (born 13 March 1965) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. Playing career As a player, Alispahić played for Iskra Bugojno, hometown clubs Sarajevo and Željezničar, Sloboda Užice, MSV Duisburg, Remscheid, Kayserispor and Lausanne-Sport. He was part of Iskra Bugojno's golden generation, when the club got promoted from the Yugoslav Second League to the First League in 1984 and also won the 1984–85 edition of the Mitropa Cup. Mehmed Janjoš
Mehmed Janjoš (born 5 August 1957) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player who is currently working as an assistant coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Playing career Born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, Janjoš began playing football for local side Sarajevo. He spent eight seasons with the club, winning the Yugoslav First League in the 1984–85 season. The following season, he moved to Spain to play in La Liga with Hércules. Janjoš went back to Sarajevo after two years in Spain. In 1988 he went to Adana Demirspor in Turkey where he finished his career in 1990. Nermin Hadžiahmetović (born 15 October 1953) is a Bosnian former Manager (association football), football manager. He led NK Čelik Zenica, Čelik Zenica to the first ever Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian league title in the 1994–95 First League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1994–95 season. Rajko Rašević
Rajko Rašević (; 17 November 1946 – 7 March 2011) was a Yugoslav and Bosnian professional footballer and football manager. Playing career Rašević started his playing career in his hometown club Rudar Breza, before eventually reaching the Yugoslav First League where he represented FK Sarajevo and Željezničar. He went on to play abroad in the Swiss Super League Managerial career After ending his playing career, Rašević became a football manager, starting out as a coach in the youth team of Bosna Visoko before taking charge of the first team in 1977. He went on to manage Iskra Bugojno, FK Novi Pazar, Süper Lig side Diyarbakır and FK Sarajevo, before retiring from management in 1990 due to bad health. Džemaludin Mušović
Džemaludin Mušović (born 30 October 1944) is a Bosnian retired football manager and player. He is regarded as one of the most successful Bosnian football managers. Club career Mušović joined Hajduk Split from Sarajevo in 1966 for 13 million dinar after being persuaded by national teammate Vinko Cuzzi to come over to Dalmatia. He immediately won the 1967 Yugoslav Cup with them, beating his former club. Denijal Pirić
Denijal Pirić (; born 27 September 1946) is a Bosnian former football manager and player. Club career Born in the small mining town of Živinice, Pirić started playing football at local side Slaven. Former Slaven manager Vlatko Konjevod then lured him to Dinamo Zagreb and played 8 years for the club. Pirić then joined Sarajevo. With Dinamo, he won two domestic cups and the 1966–67 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, beating Don Revie's Leeds United in the final. He played over 350 matches for Dinamo in all competitions. Boško Antić
Božidar "Boško" Antić ( sr-Cyrl, Божидар Бошко Антић, ; 7 January 1944 – 4 December 2007) was a Yugoslav and Serbian professional football manager and former player. Playing career Being drafted into the youth setup of Sarajevo from local side UNIS Vogošća at the age of thirteen, he started his senior career with the maroon-whites in 1965. A young and polyvalent team made up of home grown players such as Mirsad Fazlagić, Boško Prodanović, Vahidin Musemić and Antić would clinch the Yugoslav First League title in the 1966–67 season, and in doing so become the first championship-winning side in the club's history. Antić was one of the most prolific members of said team, finding the back of the net on 14 separate occasions during the title-winning campaign, while scoring a total of 140 goals in 276 appearances in all competitions for the club.
