Kemal Alispahić
Kemal Alispahić (born 13 March 1965) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. Playing career As a player, Alispahić played for Iskra Bugojno, hometown clubs Sarajevo and Željezničar, Sloboda Užice, MSV Duisburg, Remscheid, Kayserispor and Lausanne-Sport. He was part of Iskra Bugojno's golden generation, when the club got promoted from the Yugoslav Second League to the First League in 1984 and also won the 1984–85 edition of the Mitropa Cup. Managerial career In his managerial career, Alispahić first worked as an assistant manager to Amar Osim at Željezničar. He then went to manage rivals Sarajevo, Jedinstvo Bihać, Mughan, Al-Ittihad Aleppo, Ravan Baku, Čelik Zenica,Jordanian Pro League club Al-Ramtha and most recently, Saudi Arabian side Al-Qaisumah. NK Čelik Zenica
Nogometni klub Čelik Zenica ( en, Football Club Čelik Zenica) is a professional football club based in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name ''Čelik'' means ''Steel'' in Bosnian and it symbolizes the strength and power of the club in an industrial city well-known for steel production. Throughout its history, the club has been known for the excellent support of its fans at its Bilino Polje stadium which hosts the Bosnian national team. Syrian Cup
The Syrian Cup ( ar, سوريا) is Syria's premier knockout Cup tournament in men's football. It was first contested in 1959. Al-Ittihad SC has won the competition on 10 occasions. The final was first played in the 1960-61 season during the UAR era and won by Al-Majd SC. The tournament has been held annually since then except for the 1963, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977 seasons. The record for consecutive wins in the competition is four titles, only two teams have achieved such as Al-Karamah and Al-Fotuwa. Al-Ittihad are the current title holders. 1983–84 Yugoslav Second League
The 1983–84 Yugoslav Second League season was the 38th season of the Second Federal League ( sh, Druga savezna liga), the second level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. The league was contested in two regional groups (West Division and East Division), with 18 clubs each. West Division Teams A total of eighteen teams contested the league, including fourteen sides from the 1982–83 season and four sides promoted from the Inter-Republic Leagues played in the 1982–83 season. The league was contested in a double round robin format, with each club playing every other club twice, for a total of 34 rounds. Two points were awarded for wins and one point for draws. 2010–11 Syrian Cup
The 2010-11 version of the Syrian Cup is the 41st edition to be played. It is the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Syria. Al-Karamah went into this edition as the holders once again. The competition started on 21 September 2010 but changed from the previous year of games over two legs to a one legged affair. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2012 AFC Cup. Jordanian Pro League
The Jordanian Pro League ( ar, الدوري الأردني للمحترفين) is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league not held in the years : 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in the 1998 in 2002 the league change calendar to a fall spring season. Amar Osim
Amar Osim (born 18 July 1967) is a Bosnian professional Manager (association football), football manager and former Football player, player. He is regarded as one of the most successful Bosnian football managers. Osim was a talented player during his teens. However, he did not transfer his talent after getting called up to the FK Željezničar Sarajevo, Željezničar first team. Apart from Željezničar, Osim also played in France for SR Saint-Dié, Saint-Dié and ASPV Strasbourg, Strasbourg. He ended his career while at Željezničar in 1997. Osim decided to stay in Association football, football, becoming a manager. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. Mitropa Cup
The Mitropa Cup, officially called the La Coupe de l'Europe Centrale or Central European Cup, was one of the first international major European football cups for club sides. It was conducted among the successor states of the former Austria-Hungary. After World War II in 1951 a replacement tournament named ''Zentropa Cup'' was held, but just for one season, the Mitropa Cup name was revived, and again in 1958 the name of the tournament changed to ''Danube Cup'' but only for one season. The tournament was discontinued after 1992. The most successful club is Vasas with six titles. History A first "International" competition for football clubs was founded in 1897 in Vienna.
