FK Fremad Famagusta
Fotballklubben Union Carl Berner is an association football club from Grünerløkka, Oslo, Norway. The club was founded as ''FK Fremad Famagusta'' in 2008 as a team for people from the Lillehammer region residing in Oslo. Mirroring the old team FK Fremad from Lillehammer, the "Famagusta" moniker was also added to honour Anorthosis Famagusta. Chess champion Magnus Carlsen notably played for the team as a hobby. ''Fremad Famagusta'' experienced several promotions and managed to reach the Fourth Division, but withered during the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway when, among others, the entire 2020 season was annulled below the Second Division. Contesting the 2021 Fourth Division, the team decided to fold. The club was however resurrected under a new identity, Union Carl Berner. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Carl Berners plass is a square in Oslo, Norway. It is located in the borough Helsfyr, south of Sinsen. The Sinsen Line of the Oslo Tramway runs over the square. The colloquial expression for the square is just "Carl Berner". Around the square is a large number of shops as well as inexpensive restaurants. At the southern end of the area is the large Tøyen Park. The name The square is colloquially known simply as 'Carl Berner'. Jordal Idrettspark
Jordal Idrettspark is a multi-sports complex located at Jordal in Oslo, Norway. Owned by Oslo Municipality, its main tenant is Vålerengens IF. The main components are two ice hockey rinks, Jordal Amfi and Ungdomshallen, and a football stadium, Jordal Stadion. Jordal Stadion was built between 1930 and 1936. It is currently used for recreational football and American football, although it has previously also been used for speed skating. Jordal Amfi was built for ice hockey at the 1952 Winter Olympics and opened in 1951. The Vålerenga Trolls play American football at the stadium and Vålerenga Ishockey play in the amphitheater. The Norwegian Football Cup ( no, Norgesmesterskapet i fotball for herrer) is the main knockout cup competition in Norwegian football. It is run by the Football Association of Norway and has been contested since 1902, making it the oldest football tournament in the country. Grüner Idrettslag is a Norwegian alliance sports club from Grünerløkka, Oslo. It has sections for association football, team handball and ice hockey, formally named ''Grüner Fotball IL '', ''Grüner Håndball IL'' and ''Grüner Ishockey IL''. The club colors are purple. It was founded on 14 October 1952 as a merger of the teams ''Strong'', ''B14'' and ''Spero'', but it counts 1914, founding date of B14, as its own founding date.
