FIBA Awards are basketball awards that are given at the end of each FIBA tournament, or that are given in recognition of an individual's contributions to the sport. There are several awards that are attributed to the players, which have distinguished themselves from the rest, in different aspects of the game. Justise Winslow
Justise Jon Winslow (born March 26, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils, with whom he won the 2015 NCAA Championship. High school career Winslow was a four-year starter at St. John's School in Houston, Texas. He started and ended his career at St. John's with league championships. He was the 2013 Gatorade Texas Player of the Year and averaged 27.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.1 blocks, and 1.8 steals per game as a senior in 2013–14. Arnas Velička (born 10 December 1999) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Niners Chemnitz of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Professional career In 2015, after solid performance in FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship he signed with Žalgiris-2 Kaunas. The 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship (Spanish: 2016 FIBA Campeonato Mundial Sub-17) was the 4th edition of the FIBA Under-17 World Championship, the biennial international men's youth basketball championship contested by the U17 national teams of the member associations of FIBA. He played one season of college basketball for Maryland before being drafted 40th overall in the 2016 NBA draft by the New Orleans Pelicans.
