FC West Armenia
Football Club West Armenia ( hy, Ֆորտբոլային Ակումբ Վեստ Արմենիա), are an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan. History On 13 June 2019, FC West Armenia was officially founded in Yerevan by Vahe Stepanyan. In its first year of foundation, West Armenia took part in the Armenian First League. Mika Stadium was the home ground of West Armenia. On May 31st, 2021, the club announced that it will no longer participate in any competition due to financial difficulties. Kasakhi Marzik Stadium
Kasakhi Marzik Stadium ( hy, Քասախի մարզիկ մարզադաշտ) is a football stadium in Ashtarak, Armenia. It was opened in 1971 and is the former home ground of Mika and former club Kasakh FC. The capacity of the stadium is 3,600. The administrator of the stadium is Armen Matevosyan. Hayk ( hy, Հայկ, ), also known as Hayk Nahapet (, , ), is the legendary patriarch and founder of the Armenian nation. His story is told in the ''History of Armenia'' attributed to the Armenian historian Moses of Chorene (Movses Khorenatsi) and in the ''Primary History'' traditionally attributed to Sebeos. Fragments of the legend of Hayk are also preserved in the works of other authors, as well as in Armenian folk tradition. Etymology The name of the patriarch, ''Hayk'' (), is not exactly homophonous with the Armenian name for "Armenia," ''Haykʻ'' (). Armen Andranik Shahgeldyan ( hy, Արմեն Անդրանիկի Շահգելդյան; born 28 August 1973) is an Armenian football manager and former player who is currently the manager of Armenian club Sevan FC. He played as a striker for the Armenia national team, and finished his career for Armenian Premier League club FC Mika. Armen debuted for Armenia in 1992, when Armenia played its first international match after gaining independence in a friendly. He has been a member of the national team on and off throughout his career, and has scored six goals in 53 caps.
